The Crater – The Crater

This story is based on a real crater on the moon and you don’t really need it for background information but could be interesting to check wikipedia just in case: ย http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonsus_(crater)

This main character here kinda gives me the heebie jeebies but the way everything pans out is good Tezuka cynicism that I like and it is maybe visually the most pleasing of any story from the whole collection. Most every page has just one small bubble of and the rest is breathtaking lunar scenery.

This is it! The Crater – The Crater. The last story. There are two more stories in my edition but they aren’t officially part of The Crater. I’ll do them eventually but I’m itching to do something else for now.

Something else about this story, obviously it’s part of The Crater collection because of it’s title, but no Okuchin! I think just this story.

Thanks to Wright again! For the cleaning!

Thanks for scanlating! They’re interesting stories, and the art style is pretty unique so it’s a nice change from the usual.

Thanks for scanlating this collection of Tezuka stories. This was a very nice and unexpected surprise for me. They were offered on BakaBT, which is how I found them.

Do you plan to release them all in the published order, together with cover scans maybe? That would be nice…

      Ok, ok. ๐Ÿ™‚

I did what I could, sorry if it isn’t that perfect or even the standard for scanlations. It’s a bit strange because it’s had a few releases and the order is different every time, but the cover that everyone over here always falls in love with is undoubtedly from the tezuka complete collection, which I didn’t use. But I have the covers so I just kind of coupled them together awkwardly.

I’m not criticizing your work mind you; I was very happy with it. I merely thought bundling it all up with covers would be even better. Thanks for all your good work!

Right! Sorry, no I worded my comment wrong. I’m just amateur and also not very concerned in following every traditional scanlation rule, so I’m worried it may be awkward for some people. I didn’t feel like you were criticizing me. I’m glad you like it!
